今回はホイヤーズクロノグラフの父「ジャック・ホイヤー」氏が携わった、歴史的なヒット・クロノグラフたちが一同に集められオークションに掛けられることになりました。
カレラやモナコの生みの親であり、ホイヤー一族4代目当主としてホイヤーを導き、最後の創業一族からの社長でもあります。
今でも続くラインナップの祖となるモデルたちのデザインは、非常に魅力的で現代でも通用する素晴らしいものばかりですね。
ロレックス・カルティエ人気から、パネライ・フランクミュラー人気となり、三大ブランドのスポーツモデル人気へ続き、現在はオメガのスピードマスターに火が着いておりますが、今度はホイヤーズクロノグラフなのではないでしょうか？

ジャックホイヤー氏の偉業の一つと言われているのはクロノグラフ製作ではなく「スティーブ・マックィーンに時計を巻かせたことだ」そうです。

今回は全体的に非常に高値で落札されている気がします・・・
実際の価格（世界の相場）より高めでジャックホイヤー祭りと言ったかんじでしょうか。
